The band has some new silly christmas MP3s up at MP3.com, Under the name Nerf Christmas Rockers. You WANT to listen to these.

The band also did NOT die in Europe, contrary to popular belief. In fact. they'll be playing the annual Honest Don/ Fat Wreck christmas concert in San Francisco on saturday

And since the official site is basically dead, the band will take it over from the webmaster, and actually update it regularly. I'll believe it when I see it.

Nerf Herder. Have you seen them? Best I can figure is Nerf Herder never recovered from their European tour. One too many stops at english pubs, and the Cougar's frequent scuffles with Irish hooligans have drained the band of all their stamina. Or else their website is just REALLY outdated. Guys, it's time for an update. Big time.

Old stuff

New EP? Nerf Herder... did you lie to us?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the EP of unrealeased material is NOT coming out. Parry probably sat down, listened to it, and remembered why he didn't release it in the first place. It's not as good as the other stuff they've done. Not by a long shot. Sure, some of it's not bad. Karaoke King, Out of Reach, for instance. But the rest would not have made such a great album. Until we hear more, don't expect anything in the form of a new EP form. Bug me for rare stuff if you want to hear something new.

On a much smaller note, Nerf Herder has been named artist of the year by MTV, VH1, SPIN, Rolling Stone, AND Vibe.
